Foodroute JHB is a wholesale food distributor based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://www.foodroutejhb.co.za and how we handle it.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through the forms on this site:

• Wholesale account applications: business name, contact name, email address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, business type, location, website or social media, the product categories you are interested in, and any message you send.
• Pricing requests: your name, business name, email address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, the product you were viewing, and any message you send.

We do not sell products to the public through this site, and we do not collect payment card details anywhere on it.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, quote wholesale pricing, assess and set up a trade account, and to contact you about the supply relationship. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How it is stored

Submissions are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Access is restricted to authorised Foodroute staff accounts. Form submissions are not publicly readable.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Cookies are used only where necessary for the site to function.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact us at sales@foodroutejhb.co.za.
